Flyeralarm Admira was founded in 1905 in the capital of Austria. The club was originally called SK Admira Wein. They were officially founded after their merger with Burschenschaft einigkeit en Sportklub Vindobona. They renamed the club as Grob-Floridsdorfer FK Admira Wein. Not until 1914 they changed the name to SK Admira Wein. A year later SK Admira became national Champions of the second division. After the first world war was over, they started playing in the highest division until 1951. in 1934 they became runners up in the Mitropacup. After another merger, they continued playing in the highest national league. 1966 was the year the club became national champions for the first time. The Admiraren merged for last time in 1971 and they became FC Admira Wacker (Flyeralarm).

The club has its own academy called Admira Academy. The academy has a private school on campus called the Liese Profop private school. This school is meant for high-performance athletes. There the students can develop into high-performance players and at the same time complete full education. At the Admira academy students also learn how to make a career off the football pitch. The Austrian club has multiple youth squads from the age of 7 to 18.

Flyeralarm made their first debut at the Madrid Football Cup in 2016. They have played against other top academies such as SL Benfica and Chelsea FC. The Austrians are the 7th club to announce their participation for this year’s edition. We are very happy to announce their return and can’t wait to see how far they’ll make it in this year’s Madrid Football Cup.
