FCB Femení wins its second Champions League

FC Barcelona are crowned Champions League champions after beating VfL Wolfsburg last Saturday. The Spanish team found themselves trailing 0-2 in the 37th minute of the first half after a great start by the German team.

In the second half, FC Barcelona took control of the ball and managed to come back with a brace in 2 minutes by Patri Guijarro and a goal by Rolfö in the 70th minute that sealed the match in favor of the team.

Jana Fernandez and Bruna Vilamala lift their second continental trophy with FC Barcelona after winning it for the first time in the 2020/21 season after beating Chelsea FC 0-4.

Both players were champions of the Madrid Football Cup Girls Edition in 2018, with Jana being the best player of the tournament. In this edition, they faced Madrid CFF in the final, in addition to rivals such as Crossfire Premier, RKVVV Dia, Atlético de Madrid and Manchester City.

Vicky Lopez won her first Champions League this weekend in her first season with the Blaugrana. She has also had a great participation in the Madrid Football Cup Girls Edition, proclaimed champion of the tournament and best player in the 2019 edition.

Vicky has an enviable record at only 16 years old. She has managed to lift the Primera Division title with FC Barcelona, the Spanish Super Cup, the U-17 World Cup with Spain National Team, as well as the recent Champions League with FC Barcelona.

The new edition of the Madrid Football Cup Girls Edition will be played on March 29th, 30th and 31st in Alcobendas, Madrid. It will be played in the U-14 and U-17 categories.

Each category will have 16 participants, in addition to guest teams such as Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, FC Barcelona, Olympique de Lyon, Chelsea FC among other great international teams and academies.
