The best teams in the world will meet in Alcobendas this September 15, 16 and 17 in the Madrid community of Alcobendas. The tournament is an international benchmark, where up to 16 different nationalities will seek to win the title.
This morning the official presentation of the tournament was attended by Rocío García, mayoress of Alcobendas; Chema Romero, director of the Madrid Football Cup; Paco Díez, president of the Madrid Football Federation; Jesús Tortosa, sports councilman of Alcobendas. As well as Javier López, Communication and External Relations Manager of Coca-Cola; Gonzalo Inclán, director of Liceo Europeo; Rubén Torres director of RolDigital and Javier García of Kappa Iberia.
In this way, Marca endorses its commitment to grassroots football as well as events in the Madrid community. Juan Ignacio Gallardo, director of Marca declared “in order for success to come to Spanish football, it is necessary to bet on this type of tournaments. From Marca, we love the level of the participants, as well as the level of initiatives with which each year they try to be original, creative, and with a mission for the future. Players who are now at the top have passed through here, which is a sign that things are being done well in the company of sponsors and local institutions.

The mayoress of Alcobendas, Rocío García, endorsed her support for the Madrid Football Cup to continue being a reference in sport. “I like football very much, I am happy to be able to celebrate this tournament in Alcobendas. We provide the facilities of our city for the tournament. I know that 16 different nationalities are coming and it is a pride to have so many children from all over the world sharing the weekend in Alcobendas”, he declared.
