In an event held at the prestigious Marca facilities, the 2024 edition of the MFC U-14, an international youth football tournament that has established itself as one of the most important worldwide, was officially launched. With the presence of local authorities, representatives of sponsors, former footballers, and sports journalists, it was confirmed that Alcobendas will be the setting for this exciting event on September 20th, 21st, and 22nd.
Attending the event were the Mayor of Alcobendas, Rocío Alcántara; the Sports Councilor of Alcobendas, Jesús Tortosa; Juan Ignacio Gallardo, Director of Marca; Teo Dueñas, Communication and External Relations Manager at Coca-Cola; Javier García, Technical Sponsor for Kappa; Gonzalo Inclán from the European School; Daniel Martín from the Organizing Club RC Alcobendas, as well as special guests such as former footballer Roberto Fresnedoso and Sports Journalist Pedro Pablo San Martín.
During the event, the importance of the MFC U-14 as a platform for youth football development was highlighted. The tournament not only offers young talents the opportunity to compete at the highest level but also fosters values such as companionship, respect, and effort.
Alcobendas is preparing to welcome the best youth football teams in the world, who for three days will demonstrate their skill and passion for football. The city’s modern sports facilities will be available to the players, guaranteeing optimal conditions for the competition.
