Harvey Vale, MFC Legend, signs for QPR

Harvey Vale, who participated in the Madrid Football Cup U-14 in 2016, has completed his permanent transfer to Queens Park Rangers, a team in the English Championship. The 21-year-old talent leaves Chelsea after a decade at the London club.

Vale joined Chelsea’s Academy as an Under-13 and progressed rapidly through the youth ranks. He made his first-team debut in the 2021/22 season in a Carabao Cup match against Brentford. Since then, he has had loan spells at Hull City and Bristol Rovers, where he played 47 matches last season.

In the 2016 MFC U-14, Vale shared the pitch with other young talents who are now making their way in professional football, such as Xavi Simons, Alfie Gilchrist, Levi Colwill, and Samuel Illing-Junior. The tournament, held in Alcobendas, featured teams like Stromsgodset IF, Admira Wacker, White Plains Youth Soccer, Alcobendas, and Sevilla FC.

From Madrid Football Agency, we want to wish Harvey Vale the best of luck in this new chapter of his career with QPR. His journey from the MFC U-14 to professional football is a testament to the high level of our tournaments and the talent that gathers in them.

Chelsea, in their official statement, thanked Harvey for his contributions during his time as a player at the club and wished him well for the future. We join in these good wishes and will continue to follow his development at QPR with interest.

Vale’s transfer to QPR is another example of MFC participants’ success in reaching professional football, reinforcing the importance of our tournaments as a platform for developing young talent.
