Excelsior Rotterdam Joins MFC Girls Edition 2025

We are pleased to announce that Excelsior Rotterdam has confirmed their participation in the MFC Girls Edition 2025. The team will make their debut in the U-17 category, and the girls are excited about this new challenge.

Excelsior Rotterdam, through its collaboration with DCV Meiden Academy, has been making great strides in developing young female talent in the Netherlands. This partnership, known as the Sportclub Excelsior/DCV Meiden Academy, represents a unique approach to nurturing the next generation of women’s football stars.

The academy is a joint effort between Sportclub Excelsior and DCV, combining resources and expertise to offer top-level training and competitive opportunities for young female players. This intensive collaboration offers talents the opportunity to develop under professional guidance.

The academy focuses on creating a pathway for talented young players to potentially progress to the Young Excelsior women’s team. With four academy teams competing under the name sv SC Excelsior/DCV Meiden Academy, the program is designed to have a significant impact on women’s football in the region.

Excelsior Rotterdam’s participation in the MFC Girls Edition 2025 marks an exciting new chapter for the club and its young talents. It provides an international platform for these promising players to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience competing against some of the best youth teams in the world.

We look forward to welcoming Excelsior Rotterdam to Madrid from April 18th to 20th, 2025, and witnessing the fruits of their innovative academy program on the field.
